Certainly you may. There are 2 pictures of him, one of them is where he is
laying on the floor singing. They were both taken at Toronto's old Casino
Theatre, in, I believe, 1957....It was rather like the old burlesque days.
There would be a feature movie (Always a B movie), starting around 11.00 am,
after which the stage show would take place..After the stage show the same movie
would play again and that would go on like that all afternoon and evening...
Gene was there for a week and I believe I was there every day...Would take
sandwiches with me and sit through every show. I learned to sleep through the
movie and would wake up for the show...Saw many artists that way....
I took lots of photos of Gene, but sadly, only those two survived the years...

Bien sûr que tu peux. Il y a deux photos de lui, dont l'une ou il est allongé par terre en train de chanter. Toutes les deux ont été prises au vieux casino de Toronto, et je pense que c'était en 1957. C'est vraiment la caricature de cette époque. En général, il y avait un film (souvent une série B) qui commençait vers 11H00 juste avant le spectacle; ensuite, le film repassait et ça continuait comme ça l'après-midi puis la soirée.

Gene est resté là une semaine et je pense que j'y allais tous les jours. Je prenais des sandwichs avec moi et j'assistais au spectacle; j'ai appris à dormir pendant le film, puis à me réveiller pour voir le show.... J'ai vu beaucoup d'artistes comme ça. J'ai pris de nombreuses photos de Gene, mais malheureusement seules ces deux là ont survécu.
