The Gig [Sunday 24st January 2010] - 100 Club 100 Oxford Street London W1.


Doors 5pm live Music through to 10pm, DJ to finish 11pm [John Howard of UK Rock will be DJ]

Vince Eager will be Stage Manager


Flyers advertising the gig [600] was distributed last weekend at
Hemsby, A New Re-Designed batch Will be ready for distribution in a few
days or so.

Advertising. UK Rock/Now Dig This, Flyer Distribution, Website Links etc, London Time Out Mag.


Line Up. Ervin Travis & The New Virginians, Graham Fenton, Cliff
Edmunds, along with Artists who were on the original tour, Vince Eager,
Dave Sampson. Danny Rivers will be the MC’. Along with Musicians who
backed Gene & Eddie on the 1960 Tour. Brian 'Licorice' Locking
[Wildcats/Shadows] Clem Cattini [Tornados] Big Jim Sullivan [Lead
Guitar]. Tales From The Woods Houseband.

Le 28 Janvier 1960 dans le cadre de leur tournée au Royaume-Uni Gene et Eddie ont joué au Théâtre Gaumont, Coventry, 2500 personnes.

Il s'agit d'un concert pour célébrer cette tournée en vedette ... hommage à Gene Vincent par Ervin Travis & the Virginians de France ....

On January 28th 1960 as part of their UK tour Gene and Eddie played at the Gaumont Theatre, Coventry to 2,500 people. This is a concert to celebrate that tour featuring original artists on the bill and No.1 Vincent tribute act Ervin Travis and the Virginians from France....

Salut ! Voilà pour le moment ce que je peux dire sur ce
projet (au conditionnel, bien sûr ! Tant de choses peuvent arriver !!).


Il aurait lieu le samedi 23 janvier (2010), au pub « Inn
On The Green », à Portobello Road (sauf si la demande dépasse la capacité
d’accueil), à partir de 15h, de manière à ce que les fans se rassemblent,
taillent une bavette, fouillent les
stands à leur disposition, etc. (l’accès aux abords du pub sera privatisé).
Dans le pub, projections de DVD sur grand écran, DJ (pt être John Howard du UK Rock Magazine),
sans doute des témoignages de ceux qui étaient présents alors. A partir de 18h,
début des concerts. Sont prévus : Ervin Travis, Darrel Higham (avec en
plus un duo pour reprendre les titres comme White Lightning,…), Graham Fenton,
Cliff Edmunds, Vince Eager, Danny Rivers, Wee Willie Harris.


De la pub sera faite sur Radio Caroline (Del Richardson),
Eddie Cochran Connection Fanzine (Will Beard), UK Rock Mag, Now Dig This,
Maggies Blue Suede News, etc.


Bon, comme dit précédemment, tout ça est encore au
conditionnel !
