Hello.......My name is Lois and I Love Gene Vincent. I still have his 45 record of be bop a lula I purchased when I was only 14 years old.at our local record shop....... Not a scratch on it....I lost my...... lotta lovin.......... years ago. I thank you people from the bottom of my heart for keeping Gene alive today... His legacy of songs is heaven sent......I know the US did not give this extroadinary singer credit.......His was the best.......... I can not speak French, but I enjoy reading what I can on your site.........
I did read Race with the Devil when it was released....I did not think it show!d enough of the real man he was......He touched the heartst of many and still does today.........

Hi Lee-Loo!
I regret that I do not speak French. My name is Dave ....... , aged now 62, and I live in Skegness UK. As a youngster Gene was my favourite artist and I had the pleasure of meeting him on 4 occasions, the first in the dressing room he shared with Eddie Cochran at the Finsbury Park Empire, two later meetings in Sunderland and the last in 1962 in Newcastle during his tour with Brenda Lee. On that occasion I took some photographs which I am happy to share with you now. Should you wish to put any or all of them on your fantastic site you are most welcome to do so.
I have a friend here, John Craddock (no, no relation!) who also liked Gene. John is a talented artist and painted a picture of Gene which he presented to Gene in person at Northampton in 1964. I will also send two relevant photos which you are welcome to use.
Thank you for doing such a hgood job in keeping Gene's name alive.

Thanks for the add Gene Vincent was one of my favorite singers In the 50's lost a very good singer always love him and will never stop listen to his music BEE BOOB LOOLA WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS I was only about 16 first time I heard that song loved him since God Bless your friend Mary.
