GENE VINCENT BOX SET (6-CD)
This 6-CD set contains 173 recordings by the late great Gene Vincent (his complete recordings for Capitol Records and Columbia Records including some alternate versions). The 6 CD's each come in individual jewel cases and are stored in a box and also comes with a nice 48-page booklet (EVERYTHING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION). These are some great early rock 'n' roll recordings that include backup from his great band The Blue Caps. The late great country singer Buck Owens appears on a couple tracks playing backup guitar including on the hit "Lotta Lovin." You will notice some great stuff here that have been covered by artists such as The Everly Brothers, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Jeff Beck, The White Stripes, and The Stray Cats.
