From Gosta Jansson, who was at the gig in Stockholm:
The name of Gene's backing group was the Hi-Grades, four young English boys. They were in Sweden sometime in mid 60`s and the bass player Mike Watson is still living in Sweden and has worked with ABBA on tour and often as studio musician on Swedish records.

Le nom du groupe accompagnant Gene était The Hi-Grades, quatre jeunes garçons Anglais. Ils étaient parfois en Suède dans li milieu des années soixante et le bassiste, Mike Watson vit encore en Suède et a travaillé avec ABBA en tournée et aussi comme musicien de studio pour labels suèdois.
